Help Your Team Trust Their Training

Episode #11- Mattawan Week 10

SOFTBALL IS 90% MENTAL LET'S COACH LIKE IT!

Are you ready to commit to this process?

LET'S DO IT!

This is the final week before post-season, and the team is finally settling into their routines. In this episode, we discuss:

  • Developing a new routine between games to improve second-game performance
  • Dealing with fatigue and weather, without making excuses
  • Trusting your training and keeping things simple going into post-season
  • Reflecting on the growth so far this season
  • Creating an environment where your players don’t feel afraid to tell you what they need

Today’s freebie!

We’re mixing up our freebie a bit and giving you a Challenge Worksheet, just like those in our Mental Training Foundation courses! In this challenge, players will have to stack 10 dice on top of a plate that they’re holding with one hand…. with chopsticks! It’s a very difficult task, to simulate the pressures and excitement of “big games” and challenge them to focus on the little things. Don’t miss page two where you actually process the lessons learned by the task! šŸ™‚
