How to get what you want by showing gratitude before you get it

Today I am borrowing content that I have found to be very powerful. Now, I’m a believer in goal-setting. You have to know where you want to go before you can start on the right path, right? But it has always bothered me that with all the time I spent setting elaborate, specific goals… I didn’t always get there!

If I set a plan, I should be able to follow it to fruition, right? So I’d set more goals, work harder, and on days when I wasn’t feeling it I’d “fake it til I make it.” Sound familiar?

What if there was a simpler way to get what you want? And what if it was simpler? And easier? Not that you won’t have to work for what you want… I mean an ease of mind.

Gratitude forward is the key!

The audio below (shared and copyrighted by ronhenley.com – thank you!) is a keynote speech given by J. Earl Shoaff on how to become a millionaire. And he would know. He went from dry-cleaner to millionaire in four years – in the 50s! In this lesson, you’ll learn:

The Law of Attraction | The ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on.

No joke. Anything you want! Want to win a championship? Help improve your players’ skills? Make an impact? What you focus on grows.

Gratitude to you

Before I send you off, I want to extend an invite! Alicia and I will be in Atlantic City this week (December 4-7) for the NFCA Convention. If you’ll be there, please stop by to see us at booth 705! It’ll be all the way to the right as you come in.

Whether you will be there or not, we’ll be sharing what we’re up to via the Facebook group! We’ve got a culture challenge for you coaches who feel like your team’s culture is SOLID right now, to help make sure it stays that way through the end of the season.

We’ll also be sharing anything we learn, introducing you to awesome people we meet and talk to, and anything else that comes up in this magical event! (side note- they do sell the recordings of the presenters after the show which I HIGHLY recommend)

To access all of this, join us in the Mental Sweet Spot Coaches Club on Facebook!

Gratitude Audio Time!

Alrighty! I will let you go enjoy this audio now, so you can use it for yourself this holiday season and beyond!
    See you next time!

Phenomenal information

As a new coach that believes in the mental game being so important, the podcasts and group discussions online have been amazing. Thank you ladies so much! Just knowing that the day to day struggles and doubts are felt by so many others has been remarkably reassuring. Thank you for what you are giving to others in the sport.

5 Star Podcasts!

I love listening to your podcasts while out on a run or on my way to work. They are focused and give me one or two pieces of inspiration to focus on with my team for the week. I have implemented a few key words (like "supportive") and have gotten huge returns from it! Keep up the great work!!

Mental Toughness

As a softball coach and a teacher, I appreciate all of the strategies and advice that Melanie shares each week! She is so inspiring, knowledgeable about the mental game, and willing to help in any way! One tip that really resonates with me is learning how to understand which things in life you are able to control, and what is out of your control. I teach these skills on the field and in the classroom! Thank you for all of the support and encouragement!

I love being part of the Mental Sweet Spot because it helps me think outside of the box to help our team grow mentally. I’ve noticed with the techniques and advice from Melanie and others in her Facebook Group I’ve help my team not only grow mentally but athletically as well. Mental toughness will help your team on the field as well and Melanie’s advice has proven that time and time again.
